“This hotel stands out for its helpful staff and convenient location near the train station and a bus stop, making it easy to get around Glasgow. The recent modernization of the bar area enhances the experience, though some may find the rooms a bit dated. In my opinion, the staff's attentiveness and the updated bar are definite highlights.”

The Burnside Hotel is often praised for its great value, especially when compared to city center accommodations, while still offering convenient access to Hampden stadium. Guests appreciate the well-decorated and clean rooms, some noting the convenience of having an ironing table and iron, as well as spotless kettles. The location is also a plus, with a bus stop right outside and a train station just a minute away, making it easy to get to central Glasgow in about 20 minutes; however, a few guests have found the room prices a bit high for the size and breakfast provided.

Comfortable Stay Near Hampden

efficient staff quick service meaty chunks
The staff was efficient and arranged a taxi for me in the morning. The bar provided quick service. Breakfast offered a standard choice of dishes. The quality was great, with a steak pie full of meaty chunks.
The walls were a bit thin, so I could hear noise from the adjacent room. I think better sound insulation would improve guest experience.

convenient location friendly staff railway noise broken lock
The location was convenient. Close to public transport, I could easily reach the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful. They made check-in easy and responded quickly to my questions.
My room faced the railway line, and it was noisy when trains passed. The bathroom door was difficult to close. The lock was broken. I hope it can be fixed.
